In addition, ACS assists U.S. citizens in emergency situations, including arrests, deaths, and crisis situations.
ACS is open for services to U.S. citizens, by appointment, Sunday-Thursday from 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. ACS is closed on both U.S. and Libyan holidays. The email address is tripoliconsular@state.gov. The office phone is 218-91-220-0125. Please keep in mind that there are fees for many consular services.
In case of an after-hours' emergency involving an American citizen, call 218-91-220-0125.
Americans residing in Libya should register with ACS so we can be aware of the number and location of American citizens in the event of an emergency. You will also be provided with up-to-date information by registering with U.S. Embassy in Tripoli.
