English Language Programs

The Public Affairs Section, in conjunction with the Regional English Language Office (RELO) located at the United States Embassy in Morocco, works with Libyan governmental entities, universities, and teachers to help improve the teaching of English and to disseminate information on American culture and institutions. Copies of the respected periodical English Teaching Forum and other English-teaching publications of the U.S. Department of State are also distributed by this Office.

The U.S. Embassy's Public Affairs Section supports and promotes the teaching of English as a foreign language in Libya through support to teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
