USFCS Services

Currently, USFCS offers no Gold Key Service in Libya. However, the U.S. Embassy provides a limited range of services in partnership with the Cairo branch office of the USFCS.  The following products are available, depending on available resources:

Industry Sector Analysis (ISA)

Structured market research reports produced in Libya. These reports cover market size and outlook, characteristics, and competitive and end-user analysis for a selected industry sector.

International Market Insight (IMI)

Short profiles of specific market conditions or opportunities in Libya prepared in country or at multilateral development banks

Customized Market Analysis (CMA)

Market research made to order. A Customized Market Analysis report assesses the Libyan market for a specific product or service. The research provides information on sales potential, competitors, distribution channels, pricing of comparable products, potential buyers, marketing venues, quotas, duties and regulations, and licensing or joint venture interest.

International Company Profile (ICP)

Portrays the reliability of prospective trading partners. Information provided in an International Company  Profile includes type of organization, year established, size, general reputation, territory covered, sales, product lines, principal owners, financial information, and trade references, with recommendation from on-site commercial officers as to suitability as trading partner.

International Partner Search (IPS)

Customized overseas search for qualified agents, distributors, and representatives for US firms. For each IPS, Commercial officers in Libya identify up to six foreign prospects that have examined the US firms' product literature and expressed interest in representing the US firm's products.
